The Microsoft/IBM DataPlugin for Audio supports reading, writing, importing, and exporting of Waveform Audio File Format (WAVE) files.
The Microsoft/IBM DataPlugin for Audio helps you work with WAVE format files in the .wav file extension. This DataPlugin can read and write WAVE files with one, two, or more channels, and it also supports Float_IEEE format sound files. Additionally, the Microsoft/IBM DataPlugin for Audio provides importing and exporting support for files in the .mp3, .wma, .afc, aif, and .au file extensions.
