DSUnbind

int DSUnbind (int panelHandle, int controlID, HRESULT *dataSocketError);

Purpose

Unbinds a control from a DataSocket object and frees the resources used by it.

Linux This function is not supported.

If the control being unbound is a graph, and you did not specify a plotID at the time the graph was bound, LabWindows/CVI deletes the plot. If the graph is in discard mode, the plot will not be deleted.

Parameters

Input
Name Type Description
panelHandle integer Specifier for a particular panel that is currently in memory. You obtain this handle from LoadPanel, NewPanel, or DuplicatePanel.
controlID integer The defined constant, located in the .uir header file, that you assigned to the control in the User Interface Editor, or the ID returned by NewCtrl or DuplicateCtrl.
Output
Name Type Description
dataSocketError HRESULT (passed by reference) The HRESULT if this function causes a DataSocket error. A value of NULL can be passed in if the HRESULT is not needed.

In the event of a DataSocket error, this function returns a value of UIEDataSocketError.

status integer Return value indicating whether the function was successful. A negative number indicates that an error occurred.
