2016 Humanitarian Award Winner, Jeffery Bouchard, Biostage

 

Intel Internet of Things Award

This award is given to the authors of the paper that details the most innovative IoT application using platforms to connect, manage, and secure devices and data in a consistent and scalable manner. The application must use intelligent connected devices, including NI LabVIEW system design software to program NI hardware featuring the Intel architecture, including PXI, PXI Express, Smart Camera, or NI CompactRIO devices.

NI Engineering Grand Challenges Award

In recent years, engineers have been called on to create new ideas to address some the world's most pressing challenges. The NI Engineering Grand Challenges Award recognizes the technical paper that best exemplifies how engineers and scientists around the world are using the NI platform to make a positive impact on the global ecosystem.

 

Humanitarian

For decades, NI has maintained a mission to improve everyday life by developing innovative products and technologies that help engineers and scientists solve the world’s problems. The Humanitarian Award recognizes the submitted application that exhibits the greatest impact on improving the quality of life for people across the globe.
