The NI Volume License Program (VLP) reduces the total cost of ownership while providing streamlined asset management to the organization.

VLP customers receive Standard Service Program (SSP) benefits:

  2. Free software updates
  3. Convenient online training
  4. Easy access to historical software
  5. Access to NI Technology Previews

 

VLP customers receive additional benefits:

  1. Easier management of software
  2. Money saving discounts (if they qualify—see below)
  3. Free NI Volume License Manager tool

2. What do I need to participate?

There are only a few things we ask of your organization to deliver on the host of benefits from the program:

  • Purchase five or more licenses of the same type of NI development software
  • Designate an individual to act as an NI Volume License Agreement (NI VLA) administrator

To receive VLA pricing customized to your specific software needs, request a quote.

3. What does it take to administer? 

When you purchase an NI VLA, you need to designate one person as the NI VLA administrator to do the following:

  • Receive new software and distribute it to your end users,
  • Administer permissions for software access either with our free NI VLM tool or a tool you may already have in place,
  • Serve as the primary contact for National Instruments.
