NI Developer Suite 2014 DS2 incorporates many updates, including LabVIEW 2014.

All NI Developer Suite customers receive the latest release of National Instruments LabVIEW Professional Development System, LabVIEW 2014. For details about specific bug fixes, driver compatibility, installation instructions, and frequently asked questions, please visit ni.com/info and enter labview2014.

In an effort to simplify our software portfolio, National Instruments has a multiyear plan for transitioning Developer Suite users to other packaging options in our portfolio. These changes will allow NI to provide you better pricing and packaging options through a clear software packages designed based on feedback you gave us. Also we will be able to introduce new premium delivery options for our top software packages.

All of the constituent components of Developer Suite will continue to be available throughout and after this process as separate individually purchased software or through LabVIEW Suites.

As is standard with phase out processes, price changes will accompany this transition over the next several years. For more information on this change, visit ni.com/suite.

Starting in Developer Suite 2014 DS2, the Touch Panel Deployment Option will be deprecated. Its functionality will be included in Developer Suite Core supporting only NI touch panel devices running the Windows Embedded Standard 7 operating system or later. For existing users of the LabVIEW Touch Panel Module, National Instruments will continue to offer general support for this module. National Instruments will offer extended support for this module according to the guidelines found in the NI LabVIEW Lifecycle Policy.
