NI Academic Site License Circuits Option

The NI Academic Site License Circuits Option provides educators a comprehensive suite of software designed for classrooms and educational labs. Available for departments, colleges, and campuses, this option offers faculty and staff access to NI Multisim and Ultiboard software for instruction. With the Academic Site License Circuits Option, you can take advantage of the following:

  • Flexible software installations within a department, college, or campus
  • Software updates and maintenance releases
  • Access to NI technical support from applications engineers
  • NI Standard Service Program (SSP) membership

Already Own an Academic Site License Circuits Option?»

The Academic Site License Circuits Option includes the following software components:

  • NI Multisim Education Edition (with Multisim MCU Module functionality)
  • NI Ultiboard Education Edition
  • NI LabVIEW Evaluation
  • NI-ELVISmx
  • NI Device Drivers

You can install this software on school-owned machines in the classroom or teaching lab. If you wish to give students the ability to install this software on their PCs for homework and projects, consider purchasing the following:

NI Student Install Option

The NI Student Install Option is an ideal solution for distributing Multisim and the rest of the Academic Site License Circuits Option software package to a large student body (for example, freshman engineering students).

With the Student Install Option for the NI Academic Site License, students can install the education editions of Multisim and Ultiboard used on campus on their PCs at an affordable price. This option offers students the following:

  • Same version of software that is used on campus
  • Access to upgrades and maintenance releases as schools receive them
  • More extensive component database and functionality as seen in the Multisim Education Edition

With this option, students can use the complete features of Multisim Education Edition at home instead of purchasing the Multisim Student Edition. Requirements for purchasing the Student Install Option include the following:

  • An active academic site license with up-to-date maintenance
  • 50-seat minimum purchase at a time ($40 USD/seat)
  • Purchase by the university/school
  • Purchase of new seats for additional students (seats are not transferrable among students)
