Waveform measurements offer you another method for fetching data from a National Instruments high-speed digitizer/oscilloscope, but instead of time-domain waveforms, the results are scalar or array measurements. Scalar measurements refer to calculations such as rise time and frequency, which take the time-domain data and produce a single value, while array measurements transform the time-domain data into a new waveform, such as an FFT amplitude spectrum.
