National Instruments DataPlugins extend the data file support capabilities of DIAdem, DataFinder and LabVIEW. Choose from a list of DataPlugins to download and use with LabVIEW VIs, DataFinder and DIAdem, or read about how you can create your own DataPlugin to read data from a custom formatted file into DIAdem.

The DataPlugins API, optimized for parsing test data files in both ASCII and binary forms, is fully described with supporting examples. Download the DataPlugins programmer's reference guide and start developing a DataPlugin today, or place a request to NI to have a DataPlugin developed for you.

Scatter Plot
DIAdem has supported scatter plot display for decades, though you do have to configure either the line style or color to achieve it. I guess you're asking for a more obvious and direct route to that display. That would be good feedback at our "www.ni.com/diademideas" page.

Scatter Plot
I am surprised that there is no scatter plot option in DIAdem 2011. It would be helpful to have the ability to plot data without a line joining points. Please at least change the line plot style to allow users to set line width to zero, so only data markers can be visible.

I don't know about previous verisons of Diadem but 2010 will export a report directly to powerpoint

PowerPoint export
With DIAdem2010 a new shortcut in REPORT allows the direct transfer of REPORT layouts to PowerPoint. powerpoint export
I would really like be able to export a report in Diadem to powerpoint. I think if this were supported it would save many hours of time in this company and a larger proportion of people would use this tool. I know at the moment many people are moving forward with other data analysis tools based on the ability to generate the power point presentations that are requested of us multiple times a week.
