In this laboratory, students will use LabVIEW to examine the mathematical basis for AM signals, both in the time domain and the frequency domain. Using that knowledge, they will design a simple peak detector to decode AM signals. At the same time, students will investigate the difference between the two-quad and four-quad multipliers.
