Uninitialized refnum shift register causes 3214 to reboot. Including an uninitialized shift register of type refnum on a WSN Target VI causes the 3214 to reboot.

Memory Configuration Property doesn't take effect until something else triggers a recompile of the VI Changing the Memory Configuration, then clicking the run arrow doesn't recompile or relink the VI, it sends the previously compiled VI with the previous Memory Configuration settings.

WSN-3212 Reports Incorrect User Message Length When sing the Config node, the 3212 reports having a user message of 78 bytes. In actual fact messages will be cut short at 64 bytes.
