Overview
This page contains links to FPGA IP designed to work with the NI PXIe-5644R Vector Signal Transceiver. While it has been validated with the NI PXIe-5644R, it is hardware-agnostic, meaning it will work with other FPGA targets as well. It is also distributed as IP only, requiring integration with either the Simple VSA/VSG or Streaming LabVIEW sample project, or both.
Simple VSA/VSG Sample Project
This IP has been validated to work with the NI PXIe-5644R Simple VSA/VSG LabVIEW sample project.

I2C and SPI Controllers This IP implements I2C and SPI controllers which can be deployed to the VST FPGA for deterministic DUT control. |
Streaming Sample Project
This IP has been validated to work with the NI PXIe-5644R Streaming LabVIEW sample project.

Real-Time Channel Emulation This IP implements waveform convolution for applying a continuous fading profile, as well as Doppler shift and AWGN. It is scalable for either higher fidelity SISO models or can be distributed across multiple MIMO channels, receiving data from other instruments through peer-to-peer data streaming. |
