Overview

Function block diagram is one of five languages defined by IEC 61131-3 standard for programming industrial control systems such as programmable logic controllers (PLCs) and programmable automation controllers (PACs).

NI LabVIEW 2009 includes a set of function blocks commonly used in industrial control applications. These function blocks are designed for real-time industrial applications with deterministic, non-blocking execution. View this webcast for a short introduction and demo of the new function blocks.
