Overview

This webcast will help a software administrator set up an NI Volume License Manager licensing server for an Enterprise Agreement for the purpose of generating disconnected licenses. This webcast covers how to implement this for the Enterprise License Software Bundles. It is expected that the connected licenses for the Enterprise Agreement are managed using FlexNet Publisher (formerly FLEXlm).

For information on how to set up a FlexNet Publisher licensing server, please view the FLEXlm Setup for Enterprise Agreements webcast

Disconnected license files are intended for work computers that do not have access to a network connection.

Demonstrations and relevant information are presented to detail the following components of the process.

  • Install NI Volume License Manager 3.1
  • Install a license file
  • Set preferences
  • Explain the license model for Enterprise Agreement Software
  • Create a disconnected license file
  • Create customized installers for NI software
