Very helpful lecture - Oct 12, 2014

Hello. This was a very helpful lecture yet it could be helpful to actually look at the software design that have been used rather then only talk about it. One question if I may - In your last slides it was mentioned that a 3000 I/O system was developed and in the last slide one can actually see the use of a ladder diagram. Has this been actually implemented into NI's hardware? How? If not, then how did you manage to control such a huge amount of I/O's? Using LabVIEW? Thanks, Best regards.
