Installing a DataPlugin with 64-Bit Adaptation

Environment

Software

  • Package Manager
  • SystemLink
  • LabVIEW
  • DIAdem

Before you start, go to the webpage ni.com/dataplugins or the DataPlugins section in NI Package Manager, and search for the DataPlugin you need.

  1. Download the *.ZIP file of the DataPlugin to your local hard drive.

  2. Extract the ZIP file to a local hard drive folder.

  3. Double-click the installation file (*.EXE or *.msi) of the DataPlugin and follow the installation wizard.

  4. Double-click the *.URI file with the 64-bit DataPlugin bridge in Windows Explorer.
     

You are done!

The DataPlugin is now registered on your computer for 64-bit and 32-bit platforms. You can load your data files with NI software (e.g. SystemLink, DIAdem, LabVIEW).
 

In SystemLink, you can view the DataPlugins installed on your machine in the DataPlugins app.

In DIAdem, you can view the list of DataPlugins installed on your machine at Settings >> Extensions >> DataPlugins.



 

In LabVIEW, you can view the list of DataPlugins installed on your machine at Examples >> File IO >> DataPlugins >> General directory.
