If your new virtual device contains an NI switch, the next screen you see is the Graphical Configuration Utility located in the Schematic Tab. In this environment, you can configure your routes by clicking on the switch schematic. In the image above, you can see that the highlighted route group DMM_TO_RES_1, which is displayed in the switch matrix schematic, contains four routes connecting the rows to the first four columns. Route groups can also include routes for multiple modules. The current view is showing the routes for the NI PXI-2535 high-density FET switch matrix module, indicated by the highlighted device in the Devices section.
