Online E Series Diagnostic Utility (Legacy)

Welcome to the National Instruments E Series Diagnostic Utility. This site will perform tests to verify the functionality of your E Series data acquisition (DAQ) board. This online utility uses your board's own capabilities to rigorously test all of its major functions, and to perform a self-calibration.

This diagnostic uses the Traditional NI-DAQ (Legacy) driver and works only for E Series DAQ boards. This utility will not work for the Simultaneous Sampling DAQ Boards in the NI 61xx family.

Instructions

1. Please be sure to have the following software installed on your computer:
   
   
   • Traditional NI-DAQ (Legacy) version 6.9 (or higher)
     
     
   • Microsoft Internet Explorer version 5.0 (or higher)
     
     
   
   
2. Click on the Continue button below to load the E Series Diagnostic Utility in a new browser window. Allow your browser to download and install the utility when prompted. In some cases, you may need to reboot your computer to complete the installation. If that happens, return to this site to run the diagnostics test.

Note: This utility will not automatically run when the diagnostics page loads, so please follow the instructions on that page when the diagnostics test has finished loading.
