LabVIEW 8.5.1 ActivationAs an exclusive update for NI SSP customers, LabVIEW 8.5.1 requires activation (Windows only). Only customers with active SSP membership at the time of release (March 3, 2008) will be able to activate LabVIEW 8.5.1 and the latest versions of the modules. WARNING: If you do install LabVIEW 8.5.1 without an SSP membership, the new version will not work and you will need to reinstall LabVIEW 8.5. Activation FAQsQ: Where do I find my serial number for activation? A: You can find your serial number on the Certificate of Ownership included in your software kit. If your software kit does not include a Certificate of Ownership, you can find your serial number on the product packing slip or on the shipping label.
