Test Executive Toolkit 4.0 Troubleshooting Guide

Improvements in National Instruments LabVIEW 4.0 made it necessary to build a new version of the Test Executive Toolkit. Since there were no functional changes made to the toolkit itself, the name for the Toolkit remained as Test Executive 4.0. However, this version, and the version that was released for LabVIEW 3.1.1 are not the same. The improvements in LabVIEW made it necessary to rebuild several of the VIs that are critical to the engine of the Test Executive.

The Test Executive Run-Time Engine that is shipped with this version of the Toolkit is built in LabVIEW 4.0. All of the VIs that are called as part of a step in the Sequence Editor need to have been saved as LabVIEW 4.0 VIs. This means that either the VIs were originally written in LabVIEW 4.0, or they have been mass-compiled into LabVIEW 4.0.
