Launching It

There are several ways to launch the Interactive Control (IBIC):

1. In the Measurement & Automation Explorer, select Tools » NI-488.2 Utilities » Interactive Control.

2. Right-click on a GPIB board listed in the Measurement & Automation Explorer and select "Interactive Control" from the pop-up menu:

   

   
   

What It Does

The Interactive Control (IBIC) gives you access to the entire 488.1 and 488.2 command sets. You may test GPIB programs step by step, by sending individual commands to instruments on your General Purpose Interface Bus.
