Legacy: FieldPoint Serial Network Module Configuration

  1. Open FieldPoint Explorer. Go to File » New and open a new file.

  2. Right-click on "FieldPoint" and click on "Add a comm resource to this server", as shown below.

  3. In the following dialog box, keep the default RS232/485 Type. Also, note that the Baud Rate settings on your FP-1000/1001 should correspond to the ones you select in the configuration below:

  4. Select the correct COM port number and click the Find Devices! button.

    FieldPoint Explorer should have detected your FP Modules:

  5. Left-click on "FP Res", and the devices will appear on the left portion of the window.

  6. Select File » Save to save your configuration settings.
