The error you are experiencing may already have been reported, may be due to a malfunctioning video driver or other hardware driver, or may already be corrected in a later version of LabVIEW. In order to get more information about this error, please select your LabVIEW version, enter the code module name and the line number where LabVIEW reported the problem, then click "Go!"

If the search results are empty and your error is not explained by the "Common Errors" link above, it is likely that the problem you experienced has not been reported to us yet. In order to best help us solve the problem or determine a workaround for you, please try to provide us with as many of the following details as possible; the code module and line number alone are unlikely to provide us with enough information to diagnose the problem:

  • LabVIEW Version
  • Code module and line number indicated by the error message
  • Operating System
  • LabVIEW failure logfile (LabVIEW 5.1 and higher only) found in the following location:
    • Windows NT/98/95: <Windows temporary directory>\LabVIEW_Failure_log.txt
    • Power Macintosh: <LabVIEW directory>:LabVIEW_Failure_log.txt
    • Solaris/HP-UX: /tmp/LabVIEW_Failure_log.username.txt
  • Circumstances involving the error
    • Whether or not the problem is reproducible; if so, what steps are required to produce the error?
    • If the problem is not reproducible, then what, to the best of your knowledge, was your VI doing just prior to the error? Was a subVI being called? Was there any specific user interaction that preceded the error?
  • A small (<50 kB) VI demonstrating the problem
