Programmatically Configuring the NI 9469 in LabVIEW

Overview

This tutorial explains how to use LabVIEW to programmatically configure the NI 9469 Chassis Synchronization Module the same the way you would do it in Measurement & Automation Explorer (MAX).

With NI-DAQmx 9.6 or later, the cDAQ Sync API allows users to programmatically configure their multi-chassis setup.

The cDAQ Sync palette can be found in LabVIEW by navigating to:
Measurement I/O»NI-DAQmx»Advanced»System Setup»DAQmx cDAQ Sync

The Measurement & Automation Explorer (MAX) options are shown below to their corresponding cDAQ Sync VI's:

There is also an example attached demonstrating the usage of these VI's.

Note: The use of these VIs is not intended to change the status of the connections in Measurement & Automation Explorer (MAX).
