In addition to the system requirements for the LabVIEW Development System, the VI Analyzer Toolkit has the following requirements:
Note The LabVIEW 2016 Professional Development System license activates the LabVIEW 2016 VI Analyzer Toolkit.

The VI Analyzer Toolkit supports the following operating systems:

You can install all of your LabVIEW products—including the VI Analyzer Toolkit (32-bit)—using the LabVIEW 2016 Platform media. Refer to the LabVIEW Installation Guide on the LabVIEW Platform media for installation instructions and system requirements.
To request additional LabVIEW Platform media, refer to the NI website.
The LabVIEW Platform media does not include the VI Analyzer Toolkit (64-bit). To install the VI Analyzer Toolkit (64-bit), visit ni.com/info and enter the Info Code lvvatdownload to download the software. You also can request the LabVIEW 2016 (64-bit) media, which includes limited support for 64-bit modules and toolkits, from the NI website.
Note If you purchased this product with an NI Software Suite or NI Product Bundle, use the installation media that shipped with your purchase to install this product.

To uninstall the VI Analyzer Toolkit on Linux, enter the following command:
sh ./UNINSTALL
With this release, the VI Analyzer Toolkit drops support for Microsoft Windows 7 RTM (with no service pack), Windows Vista, Windows XP, and Windows Server 2003. LabVIEW 2016 VI Analyzer Toolkit and later will not install or run on an unsopported OS. You cannot deploy or distribute applications that use the LabVIEW 2016 VI Analyzer Toolkit to an unsupported OS. Additionally, after installing the LabVIEW 2016 VI Analyzer Toolkit, you cannot use any installers built on this computer with any version of LabVIEW, LabWindows™/CVI™, NI TestStand™, or Measurement Studio on an unsupported OS.

The LabVIEW 2016 VI Analyzer Toolkit (64-bit) is available on Windows, OS X, and Linux. NI no longer provides the 32-bit version of VI Analyzer Toolkit for OS X.

After you install the VI Analyzer Toolkit, select Tools»VI Analyzer»Analyze VIs in LabVIEW to run the VI Analyzer. You also can use the VI Analyzer VIs, located on the Functions palette. Refer to the LabVIEW Help and the LabVIEW VI Analyzer Toolkit User Guide for more information about using the VI Analyzer Toolkit.

Select Help»Find Examples from LabVIEW to launch the NI Example Finder. LabVIEW examples for the VI Analyzer Toolkit are located in the labview\examples\VI Analyzer Toolkit directory. You can modify an example VI to fit an application, or you can copy and paste from one or more examples into a VI that you create.

You can automate the installation of most NI products using command-line arguments to suppress some or all of the installer user interface and dialog boxes. However, starting with the August 2012 releases (products using NI Installers version 3.1 or later), you may need to perform additional steps before or during a silent installation of NI software.
If the NI product you are installing uses Microsoft .NET 4.0, the .NET installer may run before any NI software installs and may require a reboot before the installation of NI software begins. To avoid a .NET reboot, install .NET 4.0 separately before you install NI software.

Microsoft Windows 10 is the latest version of the Windows operating system and features significant changes compared to previous versions. Windows 10 introduces several new capabilities and also combines features from both Windows 7 and Windows 8. For more information about NI support for Windows 10, visit ni.com/windows10.
When you install NI software on Microsoft Windows 8.1, you will notice a few additional tiles in the Apps view, including shortcuts to NI application software products such as NI LabVIEW, Measurement & Automation Explorer (NI MAX), and NI Launcher.
