SWEEPSTAKES OFFICIAL RULES
HOW TO ENTER: Become eligible to win one of three gift card sets to various national store chains in $2500, $1000 and $500 increments by completing the 2009 NIWeek Conference Survey. Limit one (1) entry per recipient for this offer. Entries must be received by 7:00 PM CST on Wednesday, August 5, 2009 (hereinafter referred to as Drawing Date) to be eligible for the applicable drawing. All entries become property of National Instruments Corporation (hereinafter referred to as Sponsor) and will not be returned. Sponsor is not responsible for late, damaged, incomplete, illegible, lost, delayed, or misdirected entries.
ELIGIBILITY: This drawing offer is limited to paid full conference registrants of NIWeek 2009. To be eligible for this drawing, you must be a paid full conference registrant of NIWeek and be eighteen (18) years of age or older. Employees of Sponsor, advertising agencies and/or promotional partners, and the relatives and household members of the employees of each, and any non-solicited customers are not eligible for this drawing. Void where prohibited. All federal, state and local laws and regulations apply.
WINNERS: Drawing will include eligible registrants. Three (3) winners for the various prizes will be selected on a random basis. The winners need not be present to win and will be notified in person or through e-mail, mail or phone. The winners will be required to sign and return a claim form, an affidavit of eligibility and a liability/publicity release, within ten (10) days of their issuance, to: National Instruments Corporation, c/o Paula Callas, 11500 N. Mopac Expressway, Building B, Austin, Texas 78759 or the award will be forfeited. Odds of winning a prize depend on the number of eligible entries received. Except where prohibited by applicable law, participants, by entering the contest or accepting the prize, consent to the use of their names (including corporation or other company name), pictures, voices, evaluation data, biographical data and/or likeness in advertising and promotional materials by Sponsor and its promotional partners, without additional compensation. All prize claims, affidavits of eligibility, and liability/publicity releases will be verified by the contest judges. Judges' decisions will be the final interpretation of the rules and awarding of the applicable prize. The prize is non-transferable and no substitutions or cash redemptions will be made.
PRIZE: Three (3) winners will be selected from the eligible entrants who completed and returned the 2009 NIWeek Conference Survey. Prizes are provided "as is" and without any warranty of any kind.
GENERAL: By entering the drawing and, in the case of the winners, accepting the applicable prize, each entrant agrees (a) that Sponsor and its parents, division, subsidiaries, affiliates, advertising, promotion, and public relations agencies and the respective officers, directors, employees, representatives, attorneys, and agencies of each (collectively herein referred to as the Sponsor Parties) shall have no liability whatsoever for any injuries or damage incurred in whole or in part from such contestant's participation in this promotion, acceptance and/or use of any prize, or any misuse or malfunction of any prize awarded, and (b) to release and hold harmless each Sponsor Party from any damage, injury, death, loss, claim, action, demand, or other liability that may arise from such contestant's participation in this promotion, acceptance and/or use of any prize, or any misuse or malfunction of any prize awarded. Sponsor makes no warranty, representation, or guarantee, express or implied, in fact or in law, relative to any prize, including, but not limited to, its quality, merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose or mechanical condition. Any person who supplies false information, obtains entries by fraudulent means, or is otherwise determined to be in violation of these rules in an attempt to obtain any prize may be immediately disqualified from the contest and/or prosecuted to the fullest extent of the law. Sweepstakes rules may change from time to time. The recipient is responsible for all (if any) applicable fees, insurance, federal, state and local taxes, incidentals, and any other unspecified expenses associated with acceptance or use of any prize. Sponsor further reserves the right, at its sole discretion, to cancel, terminate, modify or suspend the contest in the event the contest is not capable of completion as planned or the administration, security, fairness, integrity or intended conduct of the contest is otherwise compromised (including without limitation infection by computer virus, bugs, tampering or technical failures of any kind). In the event Sponsor takes any of the actions discussed in the immediately preceding sentence, Sponsor will provide notice thereof at http://www.ni.com. Any and all disputes and causes of action arising out of or connected with this promotion or any prize shall be resolved exclusively before the federal or state courts located in Travis County, Texas (to which each entrant, by entering the drawing and, in the case of the winners, accepting the prize, consent to personal jurisdiction). Additional restrictions may apply.
LIST OF WINNERS: For the name of the winners, send a self-addressed, stamped envelope to National Instruments Corporation, c/o Paula Callas, 11500 N. Mopac Expressway, Building B, Austin, Texas 78759. Requests must be received no later than 60 days following the drawing.
