Demonstration Highlight – Navigate Mars with LabVIEW

Navigate a replica of the Mars rover over simulated terrain of the "Red Planet." This exhibit, created by Purdue University students as part of the Engineering Projects in Community Service (EPICS) program, was created for a local children’s museum as an interactive way to learn about the NASA mission to Mars. The exhibit uses LabVIEW 8.5 software to create a graphical user interface that you can use to control the rover as well as select your mission, landforms, and scientific tools. Stop by the booth (#225) to see if you have what it takes to successfully complete a mission.
