Program Your LEGO® MINDSTORMS® NXT Using NI LabVIEW
LabVIEW users will be able to create and download VIs to operate and control LEGO MINDSTORMS NXT. Available this fall, the LabVIEW Toolkit for LEGO MINDSTORMS NXT also enables third-party software and hardware developers to create native blocks for MINDSTORMS NXT software using the LabVIEW Express VI technology.

RPI Students Design and Build Two-Wheeled Human/Object Transporter
Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute (RPI) students designed and built a two-wheeled balancing transporter in their mechatronics senior design course. They designed and implemented the control system using the LabVIEW Simulation Module and deployed it on NI CompactRIO to integrate I/O.

Graphically Program DSPs with the New LabVIEW DSP Module 2.0
Program DSPs without using C or assembly code by using the new LabVIEW DSP Module. With hundreds of built-in signal processing functions, professors can use the module to teach signal processing and introductory engineering concepts using targets such as NI SPEEDY-33, and Texas Instruments TI C6416, TI C6713, and TI C6711 DSKs.
