Honda Implements Integrated Road Simulator at Low Cost
Honda R&D used LabVIEW graphical development software to develop two types of road simulators for motorcycle strength and durability tests - one for test benches and the other for cyber space. By developing the road simulator control software in LabVIEW, Honda was able to create the entire system for less than one-tenth the cost of purchasing it from an overseas manufacturer. In addition, it only took them 220 days to develop the control system.
