Future Solutions

The Nobel-Prize-winning scientist of tomorrow is currently in elementary school; the inspiration she needs to fulfill her future may begin with National Instruments software. This year, we jointly developed an interactive curriculum in which elementary school students can program LEGO models using the same National Instruments software that engineers at NASA use to monitor and control the Mars Pathfinder. Our products also make the grade on college campuses. Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute, Rice University, and the University of Texas are among the many universities integrating our products. From grade school through graduate school, we empower engineers and scientists to build solutions for the future.

See how National Instruments products are building the future.

Challenge:

Teaching engineering and science to grade school students through an incremental learning program incorporating National Instruments industry-standard software.

Solution:

Introducing ROBOLAB, the result of a partnership between LEGO Dacta, Tufts University, and National Instruments, which combines custom National Instruments software with programmable LEGO bricks to build a progressive learning curriculum for students around the world.
