Overview

The Alfamation FlexMedia VG-02 is designed to test the latest high-definition display technology for dead pixels, color correctness, and timing errors. It generates high-speed low-voltage differential signaling (LVDS) video content with user-defined formats using industry-standard NI PXI/PXI Express and field-programmable gate array (FPGA)-based NI FlexRIO technology. You can choose the FlexMedia software as a stand-alone application for easy configuration and benchtop test, and also as an NI LabVIEW API for automated production test of the latest high-definition displays. The solution can generate a single image or stream a finite set of frames (25 at 1080p and more at lower resolutions) from memory. With the flexible setup, you can drive up to four displays at 60 Hz or two at 120 Hz.
