Using PXI hardware and NI LabVIEW software, you can develop effective phase-coherent RF measurement systems. PXI makes it possible to synchronize up to four RF vector signal generators or up to four RF vector signal analyzers. This architecture works with a shared local oscillator (LO) between each signal generator and a separate shared LO between each signal analyzer. With this system, you can perform accurate phase-coherent RF measurements for multiple input, multiple output (MIMO) and beamforming applications at a low cost. NI platform benefits include the following:
