Overview

These programs show the use of new functions that help you get and set parameters on the NI 9234 in DAQmx Base.

The following examples, made in LabVIEW and C, show how to use some of the new features in DAQmx Base. The features are specifically geared toward the NI 9234. These features include new functions such as the DAQmx Base Set Property and the DAQmx Base Get Property. They allow you to get and set information for the IEPE and coupling parameters of the NI 9234. See the following "lc_c_daqmxbase_dsa.zip for examples of how to do this in LabVIEW and C. 

LabVIEW examples:

Both examples are set up to continuously acquire voltages on the channels you specify. The programs show how to turn on the IEPE excitation current and the ability to change the coupling to either AC or DC. In LabVIEW the DAQmx Base Set Property and DAQmx Base Get Property are polymorphic VI's so you can change to a different property using the same VI. See the section labeled "Steps" on the block diagram to see how to set up your AI task. 

C examples:

Both examples are set up for N number of samples to acquire. The programs also show how to turn on the IEPE excitation current and the ability to change the coupling to either AC or DC. See the "Instructions for running" and "Steps" in the comments field above the program to see how to set up your AI task.
