Overview

This document has been archived and is no longer updated by National Instruments.

This example includes code written in Visual Basic 6.0, and LabVIEW 7.0 that illustrates how to develop an application that generates an array of numbers and then sorts them using the Bubble Sort algorithm.

In the LabVIEW case, open the Generate and Sort VI, which is at the top level of the program. In addition to a literal interpretation, the LabVIEW example also includes a simplified version of Bubble Sort which incorporates a built-in VI. The Generate and Sort - Easiest VI demonstrates the use of a built-in sorting routine instead of the Bubble Sort algorithm.

In Visual Basic 6.0, load the Generate and Sort project file located in the VB subdirectory.
