As vice president of R&D for automated test software, Jon Bellin is responsible for global application and system software development.
Since joining NI in 1986, Bellin has played a critical leadership role in developing NI software, and he currently oversees the development of RF measurement software, TestStand, the NI TestStand Semiconductor Module, Measurement Studio, LabWindows™/CVI software, and instrument drivers for third-party instruments. He also helped establish the high technical bar for recruiting software engineers, led the development of the software engineering process for new product development, and co-invented nine patents.
Prior to joining NI, Bellin spent 10 years working with the Internal Revenue Service.
Bellin holds a master’s degree in computer science from The University of Texas at Austin and a bachelor’s degree in philosophy from the University of California, Berkeley.
