NI-RFmx is a family of instrument drivers consisting of multiple libraries of Nodes and functions you can call from your application software, such as LabVIEW, LabWindows™/CVI™, or Microsoft Visual Studio, to program your NI vector signal analyzer devices.
NI-RFmx instrument driver APIs are completely interoperable. For example an NI-RFmx LTE API can be used with all other NI-RFmx APIs, such as NI-RFmx SpecAn, GSM, and so on.
This is accomplished through sharing a single session handle across multiple drivers. You need to open only one RFmx session per signal analyzer and use it to configure and perform measurements with the different RFmx drivers. In addition, the NI-RFmx API provides simple access to the most advanced optimization techniques such as multi-measurement parallelism and multi-DUT measurements. The result is extremely fast and high-quality measurements with minimal software development effort.
