Restoring a Deleted or Damaged License File

Use NI License Manager to restore a deleted or damaged license file.

How you restore your license file depends on the kind of license file you need. To restore a license file from a National Instruments Volume License Program administrator (either a disconnected or a home license file), contact your administrator for another copy.
  1. Browse to
  2. Enter the product name and license file in the Downloads search box.
  3. Browse to the appropriate license file.
  4. Download the desired evaluation license file.
  5. Launch NI License Manager.
  6. Install the license file that you downloaded.
    1. If you have a damaged license file, click Yes when prompted to overwrite the existing file.
  7. Activate the newly installed license.
