The Oscilloscope displays both the time-domain data and the frequency-domain data on the left side of the panel. Use cursors to measure a given point on a trace, or compare the differences between two points. Use the Measurements pane to take measurements of a channel.
You can select one of the three modes for a cursor:
|Off||Turns off the cursors.|
|Manual||Cursors positions are not restricted to the acquired data points on a trace.|
|Track||Cursor positions are restricted to the acquired data points on a trace.|
When Cursors is set to Manual or Track, a table appears above the display with the following data:
|C1||Displays the time and amplitude readings for Cursor 1.|
|C2||Displays the time and amplitude readings for Cursor 2.|
|| t2 - t1 |||Displays the absolute value of the time and amplitude readings for C2 - C1.|
|1 / ( | t2 - t1 | )||Displays the value of 1/(|t2 - t1|).|
The Measurements pane displays the measurements of channels, including the peak-to-peak voltage, RMS, frequency, and period. To turn on or turn off a measurement, click the configuration button on the top right of the pane, and then select/deselect the measurement you want to turn on/off.
