Configure ADC Calibration (G Dataflow)

    Configures a DMM to compensate for gain drift since the last self-calibration or external calibration.

    When ADC calibration is on, the DMM measures an internal reference to calculate the correct gain for the measurement.

    Setting for ADC calibration.

    NI-DMM sets the ADC Calibration property to this value. The following table describes the valid values for this parameter.

    Value Setting Description
    -1 On Enables ADC calibration. The DMM measures an internal reference to calculate the correct gain for the measurement.
    0 Off Disables ADC calibration. The DMM does not compensate for changes to the gain.
    1 Auto The DMM enables or disables ADC calibration based on the configured function and resolution.

    Standard Error Behavior

    Additionally, these DMMs have the following default behavior:

    • For 6.5 digit and greater resolution DC measurements, NI-DMM enables ADC calibration.
    • For all other measurement configurations, NI-DMM disables ADC calibration.
