Configure Frequency Voltage Range (G Dataflow)

Specifies the expected maximum amplitude of the input signal for frequency and period measurements.

The minimum peak-to-peak signal amplitude that a DMM can detect is 10% of the specified range.

You can use this parameter to turn Auto Range on or off. The following table describes valid values for configuring Auto Range.

Value Setting Description
-1.0 Auto Range ON Configures the DMM to take an Auto Range measurement to calculate the voltage range before each frequency or period measurement.
-2.0 Auto Range OFF Disables Auto Range. NI-DMM sets the voltage range to the last calculated voltage range.
