Burst Pattern (Synchronized) (G Dataflow)

Version:
Last Modified: September 14, 2017

Uses the start label you specify to burst a pattern on the sites you specify.

Use this node to burst a pattern on digital pattern instruments that you have previously synchronized using NI-TClk.

datatype_icon

wait until done

A Boolean that indicates whether to wait until the bursting is complete.

True Waits until the bursting is complete.
False Does not wait until the bursting is complete.

Default: True

datatype_icon

select digital function

A Boolean that specifies whether to select the digital function for the pins in the pattern prior to bursting.

True Selects the digital function for the pins in the pattern prior to bursting.
False Does not select the digital function for the pins in the pattern prior to bursting.

Default: True

datatype_icon

start label

Pattern name or exported label from which to start bursting the pattern.

datatype_icon

sessions in

Instrument sessions obtained from the niDigital Initialize with Options node.

datatype_icon

error in

Error conditions that occur before this node runs.

The node responds to this input according to standard error behavior.

Standard Error Behavior

Many nodes provide an error in input and an error out output so that the node can respond to and communicate errors that occur while code is running. The value of error in specifies whether an error occurred before the node runs. Most nodes respond to values of error in in a standard, predictable way.

error in does not contain an error error in contains an error
If no error occurred before the node runs, the node begins execution normally.

If no error occurs while the node runs, it returns no error. If an error does occur while the node runs, it returns that error information as error out.

If an error occurred before the node runs, the node does not execute. Instead, it returns the error in value as error out.

Default: No error

datatype_icon

site list

The sites on which to burst the pattern as a comma-delimited list of strings in the form siteN , where N is the site number.

If you specify an empty string, the pattern is burst on all sites.

datatype_icon

timeout

The maximum time allowed for this node to complete, in seconds.

If this node does not complete within this time interval, the node returns an error if wait until done is True.

datatype_icon

sessions out

Handle that identifies the sessions in all subsequent NI-Digital node calls.

datatype_icon

error out

Error information.

The node produces this output according to standard error behavior.

Desktop OS: Windows

FPGA: Not supported

Web Server: Not supported in VIs that run in a web application
