External Calibration Nodes

Use the NI-DCPower External Calibration nodes to perform an external calibration of the device. Refer to the manual calibration procedure for your device for more information.

Calculates calibration constants for the current limit for the specified output channel and range by comparing requested and measured outputs.

Calculates calibration coefficients for the specified current measurement range by comparing reported and measured outputs.

Programs the adjusted reference value to the device.

Calculates the calibration constants for the output resistance of the specified channel by comparing requested and measured outputs.

Calculates the calibration constants for the residual current offsets for the specified output channel.

Closes the specified calibration session and deallocates the resources that NI-DCPower reserved for calibration.

Creates a new IVI instrument driver session to the specified power supply or SMU, returns an instrument handle used to identify the device in all subsequent NI-DCPower node calls, and sends initialization commands to set the device to the state necessary for the operation of NI-DCPower.
