    Signal Reference Description

    AI GND

    Analog Input Ground— These terminals are the input bias current return point. AI GND and AO GND are connected on the device. AI GND and AO GND are isolated from earth ground, chassis ground, P0.GND, and P1.GND.

    AI <0..3>+, AI <0..3>-

    Analog Input ChannelsFor differential measurements, AI+ and AI- are the positive and negative inputs of a differential analog input channel. AI± are isolated from earth ground and chassis ground.

    AO <0,1>

    AO GND

    Analog Output Channels—These terminals supply current output. AO channels are isolated from earth ground and chassis ground.

    AO GND

    Analog Output GroundAO GND is the reference for AO. AI GND and AO GND are connected on the device. AI GND and AO GND are isolated from earth ground, chassis ground, P0.GND, and P1.GND.

    PFI <0..5>/P0.<0..5>

    P0.GND

    Programmable Function Interface or Static Digital Input ChannelsEach PFI terminal can be used to supply an external source for AI, AO, or counter/timer inputs. You also can use these terminals as static digital input lines. The PFI terminals are isolated from earth ground, chassis ground, AI GND, AO GND, and P1.GND.

    PFI <6..9>/P1.<0..3>

    P1.GND

    Programmable Function Interface or Static Digital Output ChannelsEach PFI terminal can be used to supply an external source for AI, AO, or counter/timer outputs. You also can use these terminals as static digital output lines. The PFI terminals are isolated from earth ground, chassis ground, AI GND, AO GND, and P0.GND.

    NC

    No connect—Do not connect signals to this terminal.

    P0.GND

    Digital Input Ground—P0.GND supplies the reference for port 0 digital channels and input PFI terminals. P0.GND is isolated from earth ground, chassis ground, AI GND, AO GND, and P1.GND.

    P1.GND

    Digital Output Ground—P1.GND supplies the reference for port 1 digital channels and output PFI terminals. P1.GND is isolated from earth ground, chassis ground, AI GND, AO GND, and P0.GND.

    P1.VCC

    P1.GND

    Digital Output Power—P1.VCC supplies the power for digital output lines. The actual power consumed depends on the load connected between the digital output and P1.GND.

    AO POWER SUPPLY

    Analog Output Power Supply—Supplies power to the analog current output terminals.

    CAL +, CAL -

    External Calibration References—CAL+ supplies the positive reference during external calibration of the device. CAL- supplies the negative reference during external calibration of the device.
