The Code Conversion Utility did not convert the Current VI's Path function because this version of LabVIEW NXG does not support the Current VI's Path function.

The Code Conversion Utility replaces the Current VI's Path function with a subVI. The subVI determines the current VI path by obtaining the directory of the component that contains the VI and appending the name of the VI. The subVI returns the correct path if the VI is in the same directory as the component that contains it. In LabVIEW NXG, reference VIs by name, not by path, and use paths to reference only components.

What to Do

Confirm that the subVI returns the correct path to the VI. Consider restructuring your code to use the Get Component Directory node in place of the Current VI Path node.

Alternate Workarounds

If the previous suggestions don't restore the functionality of the affected code and the code isn't essential to the core functionality of your application, you can remove the portion of code. If the code is part of the core functionality of the application, you can use the VI Interop node to call your existing code, provided that the new code organization meets the architectural goals of your application. If neither solution meets the requirements of your application, do not migrate to LabVIEW NXG at this time.
