    datatype_icon

    compress data

Boolean that specifies whether to compress the digital output.

    Default: True

    datatype_icon

    spreadsheet string

Numeric or string values separated into columns by delimiters, such as tabs or commas, with an end-of-line (EOL) character separating rows. This input should be a delimited list of ASCII characters representing the 8 supported digital data states, shown in the following table.

    Value Digital Data State Description
0 0 (Drive Low) Force logic low. Drive to the low voltage level VOL.
1 1 (Drive High) Force logic high. Drive to the high voltage level VOH.
2 Z (Force Off) Compare logic low (edge). Compare for a voltage level lower than the low voltage threshold.
3 L (Compare Low) Compare logic high (edge). Compare for a voltage level higher than the high voltage threshold VOH.
4 H (Compare High) Compare logic unknown. Do not compare.
5 X (Compare Unknown) Compare logic high impedance (edge). Compare for a voltage level between the low voltage threshold VOL and the high voltage threshold VOH.
6 T (Compare Off) Compare logic high impedance (edge). Compare for a voltage level between the low voltage threshold VOL and the high voltage threshold VOH.
7 V (Compare Valid) Compare logic valid level (edge). Compare for a voltage level either lower than the low voltage threshold VOL and the high voltage threshold VOH.
    datatype_icon

    delimiter

Value or values used to separate fields in the spreadsheet file.

    Default: \t

    datatype_icon

    sample rate

Frequency in samples per second of the digital waveform output.

    Default: 1000

    datatype_icon

    error in

Error conditions that occur before this node runs.

The node responds to this input according to standard error behavior.

    Standard Error Behavior

Many nodes provide an error in input and an error out output so that the node can respond to and communicate errors that occur while code is running. The value of error in specifies whether an error occurred before the node runs. Most nodes respond to values of error in in a standard, predictable way.

error in does not contain an error error in contains an error
If no error occurred before the node runs, the node begins execution normally.

If no error occurs while the node runs, it returns no error. If an error does occur while the node runs, it returns that error information as error out.

If an error occurred before the node runs, the node does not execute. Instead, it returns the error in value as error out.

    Default: No error

    datatype_icon

    position first column

Numeric that indicated whether the first column from the string input represents the least significant bit (LSB) or most significant bit (MSB) of the waveform.

    Default: LSB

    datatype_icon

    digital waveform

    Converted digital waveform.

    datatype_icon

    error out

    Error information.

The node produces this output according to standard error behavior.
