strmatchall

    Finds occurrences of a string in an input matrix.

    Syntax

    c = strmatchall(a, b)
    c = strmatchall(a, b, 'exact')
    Legacy name: strmatch

    Inputs

    a

    Character matrix. MathScript first flattens a and searches afterwards.

    b

    String vector.

    'exact'

    Reports only exact matches. A match is exact if the trailing blanks are ignored and a is the same as in a row of b.

    Outputs

    c

    Indexes of rows in a that contain b. c is a column vector.

    A = 'this';
    B = strvconcat('that', 'this is', 'this is not');
    C = strmatchall(A, B)
    C = strmatchall(A, B, 'exact')
