# poly_pwhermite

Version:

Generates a piecewise cubic Hermitian polynomial. MathScript uses x1 and y1 to generate the piecewise cubic Hermitian polynomial. x2 specifies additional x-values, and y2 returns the y-values that correspond to x2. In other words, (x2, y2) are interpolated values of the underlying piecewise cubic Hermitian polynomial.

## Syntax

poly_pwhermite(x1, y1, x2)
y2 = poly_pwhermite(x1, y1, x2)

Real vector.

## y1

Array of any dimension. The last dimension size must be the same as the length of x1.

## x2

Array of any dimension of additional x-values.

## y2

Real array output.

Y2 = poly_pwhermite([1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6], [0, 0, 1, 1, 0, 0], [2.3, 7.1])
