    Determines whether elements are NaN.

    Syntax

    c = is_nan(a)
    Legacy name: isnan

    Inputs

    a

    Scalar or array of any dimension of any data type.

    Outputs

    c

    Boolean values. An element in c is Boolean 1, or TRUE, if but only if the corresponding element of a is NaN. Otherwise, the element is Boolean 0, or FALSE. c is of the same size as a.

    C = is_nan([nan, 1/0, 4])
    C = is_nan(2.3+nan*i)
