filter_impulse

    Applies a digital filter whose impulse response equals the impulse response of an analog filter.

    Syntax

    [bz, az] = filter_impulse(bs, as)
    [bz, az] = filter_impulse(bs, as, fs)
    [bz, az] = filter_impulse(bs, as, fs, tol)
    Legacy name: impinvar

    Inputs

    bs

    Numerator coefficients of the analog filter. bs is a vector.

    as

    Denominator coefficients of the analog filter. as is a vector.

    fs

    Sampling rate.

    Default: 1

    tol

    Tolerance used to classify the poles.

    Default: 0

    Outputs

    bz

    Numerator coefficients of the digital filter. bz is a vector.

    az

    Denominator coefficients of the digital filter. az is a vector.

    [b, a] = filter_impulse([1 2 3], [1 5 9 7 2])
