Set Output Data (Clock-Driven Logic)

Last Modified: January 12, 2018

Writes data to the digital line or port without enabling the line or port. You can use Set Output Data to optimize performance when performing successive writes to a DIO resource. The data type of the data input depends on the I/O item. For example, if the I/O item is a digital line, data requires a Boolean data type.

reference in

A reference to an FPGA I/O resource.

datatype_icon

data

The value to write to the specified FPGA I/O resource.

datatype_icon

reference out

A reference to an FPGA I/O resource.

datatype_icon

ready

A Boolean that indicates whether the DIO resource is configured to write data.

True The DIO resource is configured to write data.
False The DIO resource is configured to read data.
