Converts any number to complex fixed-point representation.

The complex fixed-point data type to which you want to convert the input data. LabVIEW ignores the actual value of the constant or control that you wire to this input.

Data Type Changes on FPGA

When you add this node to a document targeted to an FPGA, this input has a default data type that uses fewer hardware resources at compile time.

A Boolean that describes whether the result of the operation is outside the range of values that the output type can represent.

TRUE Overflow occurred.

For complex numbers, the output is TRUE if either the real or imaginary parts overflow.

FALSE Overflow did not occur.
